Unconventional on Purpose

Let me read your mind and tell you the 2 things you are definitely NOT thinking…

1. "Yay! Another real estate agent, we really need more of those!”

2. “I love when my email inbox is full! Send me an email about what you do.”

Whew, now that we got that out of the way…

I didn’t want to become a real estate agent when I was first approached about the opportunity but here I am and honestly, I love it. I could go on and on about the value I can bring to a real estate transaction but I don’t want to waste your time trying to convince you. No one should be convincing someone of their value — the reality is — if you truly provide value, you don’t have to convince anyone.

Alas! This is my twist on all things Kathryn. It’s a beautiful, albeit somewhat confusing drop zone for my thoughts on life, the housing market, spiritual metaphors, storytelling, real estate life, my absolute obsession over Wyoming (specifically Sheridan, Wyoming), and music.

My background is in marketing, yet I find myself constantly rebelling against standard marketing tactics. I mean, they DO work, but maybe not for people like me. Or people like you.

I built this website breaking all the rules! I don’t have a CTA (Call to Action Button) “above of the fold” and I don’t go into deep details about my credentials. Why? Because I work with people because I like, trust, and know and I want people to work with me for the same reasons. Plus, no one likes working with a narcissist.

My KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) are NOT sales volume. They are my stories, my client’s stories. They are how many thought they would never own their own house and now here they are.

My goal here is to treat your reading experience like we're old friends swapping silly stories that somehow have hidden lessons for the business world versus talking to you like you’re a complete stranger.  I’ll even share what songs I’m playing on repeat, or the new DIY project I should have just hired a professional for I’m doing.

If I'm not at least providing some entertainment or, at best, some value, then I have no interest in writing to you. So, sign up for my newsletter, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
